2018 - 19 Performance Season

YPT's 2018-2019 Performance Season

This season was full of amazing firsts and profound impact! YPT launched 2018-19 with a staged reading of Tunnel Vision by young playwright and New Play Festival finalist Daniel Goldman. Our Silence is Violence performance series partnered with Sasha Bruce Youthwork's Olaiya's Cradle program to bring to the stage the stories of five young, Black mothers coming of age in Washington, DC. YPT also produced its first full-length, student-written play, Three Cheers to Grace by Josie Walyus, in eight performances, some of which DC students attended for free. Learn more about the 2018-2019 Season performances below!
